Week 1 Winner is…

Week 1 Winner is…

After 1 week in the Maldives, I have left bliss and am back to reality but feel refreshed and ready to continue researching future blog posts. I will be reviewing various flights including our 1st class flight on Etihad, business class flight on Etihad, Seaplane flight and the Conrad Rangali resort. This has to definitely rank up there as one of our favorite trips. Top notch service from the start with chauffeur service that Etihad arranged for us, the resort with its fine food and activities and finished off when Etihad dropped us off at home!

Now back to the important part. I want to thank everyone who has passed by and left some great suggestions and ideas. I will sort through them over the next couple of days to see what topics interest the majority of you and target those first. I will also be covering the award redemption comparisons with a European twist.

So who’s the winner? I decided to pick from the comments for this weeks prize. Thanks to random.org and their generator, our winner is CJ who wrote:

I would also like to see the comparison of airline award systems based on the rules such as stopovers, one-way award redemption, open jaws, etc. I am somewhat familiar with UA, AA, and DL rules, but if some of the smaller(?) airline rules can be covered, it may useful. (2nd post!) Thanks

Congratulations CJ! I will be contacting you soon to give you a United GPU. Hopefully you can use it to upgrade a long-haul flight and have a much more comfortable business class trip.

Keep those comments coming as there are still many more prizes to give away including 3 more GPU’s. The rules are still the same: one entry per comment on the original blog, per facebook comment and per tweet with the same #GTHQwin hashtag. 3 entries per day.

For those that are new to miles and points or to my blog, you may want to check out my original post and beginner’s guide.
