A roundup of the latest travel news and offers that I find interesting and could be beneficial for you.

Turkish Airlines is revamping their loyalty program. I will be updating my award chart comparison guide as soon as their changes are finalized. Some of the key points are that they will be simplifying mileage charts and redemptions. Meanwhile you can visit their info site to see some of the changes and even check mileage amounts.

UK Residents can get 15,000 AA miles for getting a no annual fee visa credit card and meeting a spend requirement. Ends May 31st. All the details are at the headforpoints blog here.

Summer biz class RT airfare for around USD $1500 or less between the US and Europe. Gary at VFTW has a great post on it. Many have gotten in on the deal so I advice to act quickly on this one.

How much does a free night actually cost? Scott lays it out beautifully at HMT.

Marriott Pointsavers list is out. Awards at PointSavers hotels are charged one category lower level & category 1 hotels are 20% off.

Bumps on oversold flights can get you miles and cash but be prepared. The Points Guy has a good writeup on how to increase your chances.

Delta… is not devaluating again! They are actually slightly improving, but only slightly. They will be adding amenity kits for international economy customers and serving ice cream to all the good boys and girls 🙂 Announced here.

You can win 2 business class seats on Singapore Airlines, a pair of round-trip tickets on their codeshare partner Virgin America, and a 4-night stay at the luxurious Shangri-La Singapore hotel by answering trivia questions. Contest site here. (HT Gary from VFTW)
