Citi AA card 3 miles per $1 spend

0

One of my favorite mile currencies are AA miles due to the flexibility, ease of use and their partners (Etihad for example). So I’m always looking for ways to acquire them en masse.

If you are a US citizen/resident and have their Citi Platinum Select Aadvantage card, you may be targetted to get 3 miles per $1 spent on retail purchases at electronics & computer, clothing, toy and department stores through 03/31/14. The maximum amount that can be earned is 2,500 AAdvantage bonus miles. The T&C state that the offer comes into effect within 2 days of registering so don’t go out immediately and purchase until after 48 hours of registering.

Also if you have any existing promotions this multiplier will overlap. Point in case would be a retention offer of 1000 miles per month for the next 16 months when spending $1000/month. If you buy a $1000 laptop, you would earn the 1000 miles (retention offer) plus the 2500 miles ( normally 3 miles/$ but 2500 is the max for this offer) in one month.

For the complete T&C see below. Happy shopping!
